Who You’ll Meet With

Felicity Wren

An award-winning actor, originally from London, Felicity studied all areas of Performance for her Honors and then Masters Degrees. She then formed her own Production Company: Unrestricted View and they run a theatre in London. Since moving to Los Angeles over a decade ago, Felicity has continued acting and producing, winning five performance awards and producing sixteen film projects to date. Felicity serves at the VP of Development at the ISA and works directly with the Development Slate Writers, ISA Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch, and the ISA community.

Jeffrey Ryan Morales

Jeffrey Ryan Morales has been consulting writers and producers for over ten years. His clients have grown from learning the basics of screenwriting to selling projects for up to six figures. This is via a rigorous style of commentary which always rewards strong writing with strong criticism. For any kind of story, he ensures that a draft lives up to its writer's vision. At the ISA, he trains and coordinates our reading team and reviews all screenplay notes and contest evaluations. He has edited hundreds of notes and overseen tens of thousands of contest submissions.

Marketability

The Marketability Consultation is for the advanced writer seeking insight on the industry marketability of their script and guidance to pitch to agents, managers and producers. You’ll have an in depth conversation regarding the strengths of your writing with the ISA’s VP of Development and gain a greater understanding of where your project fits into the market. This knowledge will prepare you to confidently take meetings with executives in all areas of the industry and lean into your project’s unique and special qualities.

Felicity Wren

Who You’ll Meet With

Max Timm

Max Timm has 17 years of experience in developing written material and writers’ careers. His focus with the ISA is to find and support up-and-coming, emerging screenwriters, and to guide them with career-long education. His personal coaching, consulting, and development service, The Story Farm, develops writers and their material much like a studio executive or literary manager would: walking a writer through the development process one draft at a time. His online class, The Craft Course in Screenwriting, offers writers an in-depth yet easy to understand approach to professional full development. In order to connect with as many aspiring writers as possible, he also helped create and launch the ISA’s popular podcast network, an interview-focused podcast, as well as his solo podcast, The Craft. Aside from focusing on education, Max has joined forces with his ISA cohorts to launch a production and development company called Creative Screenwriter Productions where they develop and produce low to mid-range budgeted films written by ISA’s top members.
