Meyers is a 2021 ISA Fast Track Fellowship winner for her feature screenplay FREEFALL, one of three writers selected for Roadmap Writers Thriving at 50+ initiative, the inaugural recipient of a 2019 Sloan Foundation Development Grant in partnership with the Athena Film Festival and Barnard College, and a finalist for the 2020 Screencraft Fellowship. Meyers also received a Stowe Story Labs development grant, landed in the Next 100 for the Nicholl Fellowships in 2019 and was shortlisted for The Writers Lab in 2021.
An Athena List winner and the winner of the Atlanta Film Festival screenplay competition, Meyers was one of nine screenwriters invited to participate in the New York Stage and Filmmakers Workshop at the Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College. She was also named one of the Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch by the International Screenwriters Association in 2018.
Her short film, THE DARK OF NIGHT, directed by Robin Wright and starring Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell had its red-carpet world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. The film was also selected for the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, the Mill Valley Film Festival and the Seattle Film Festival and received Best Short by the LA Femme International Film Festival and Best Actor at the Paris Art and Movie Awards. THE DARK OF NIGHT is currently being developed for series television with TV producer Michelle Rubenstein (ARMY WIVES) and feature producer Guy Riedel (JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 - PARABELLUM).
Meyers is currently working with director, Candice Vernon (THE DREAM STILL LIVES, MAKE AMERICA GREAT?) and producer Ana de Diego on RIDE THE WIND; THE BESSIE STRINGFIELD STORY, blending magical realism with biography to tell the remarkable story of this incredible Jamaican American motorcycle pioneer. Her TV pilot for THE DARK OF NIGHT is being developed by TV producer Guy Riedel and the TV pilot she co-wrote with Todd Tavolazzi, about the American homefront in World War Two is a semi-finalist for the WeScreenplay TV Pilot competition.
