She is most often a keeper of the light for others, at times; she holds it for them until they are able to grasp it again, move forward, and shine on. Whether her lived experiences, or those of family, friends, or a random stranger, she is continually inspired by stories of triumph, overcoming of unthinkable adversity, and the resiliency of the human spirit. Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Dance/Movement Therapist turned Screenwriter, Author, and Professional Speaker based in Texas.
