A French cosmopolitan expat, Ariane studied literature in Paris and London, before graduating from the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in screenwriting. Passionate about art and history, Ariane’s screenplays focus on female empowerment with passionate protagonists who fight society's injustices to find their voice. If period dramas are her favourite genre, Ariane’s dark sense of humour naturally leads her to black comedies that focus on rejoicing themes, like death! Life’s already a tragic mess, we might as well have a laugh about it. After optioning her drama feature The Unfinished Sonata, she has recently been hired to write a thriller drama feature.
