Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, I've always had a witty mouth. I'm not quite sure if growing up in the Big Apple has anything to do with it, but my mother constantly told me my mouth was too smart for my own good. As a child of six--and the youngest girl, I always had to make my siblings laugh to get out of trouble. My sisters used to play "Casper" games with me, pretending I wasn't in the room, when I was right next to them. I would say jokes, and they would have no choice but to laugh, acknowledging I was actually in the room. Unknowingly, comedy has been engrained in me. My witty mouth has attributed to my punch lines in dialogue. But I'm always constantly reminded that my comedy is not just designed to make people laugh, but make people realize that there is POWER in words and how we speak to each other. My latest comedy, In My Head is based on a real-life experience about losing my virginity and also dealing with anxiety. After making a 90 second pitch video for In My Head, I won 1st place for ISA's 2020 Virtual Pitch Challenge and was accepted into ISA's Development Slate. I am currently writing another comedy entitled Queen Juju based on an aspiring plus size actress and also sex operator who falls in love with a South African prince over the phone.
