A 2020 PAGE Awards/Stowe Story Labs Fellow for her drama pilot THE SENSUALIST, Suzanne creates passionate, unexpected protagonists who risk everything to reinvent themselves and their worlds. Exploring contemporary issues through the prism of period narratives, her scripts’ recurring themes are female self-determination, gender politics, bigotry, and passion. She’s a two-time Nicholl Semifinalist, an Independent Feature Project Beigel Award winner, a Black List x WIF Feature Residency Short-Lister, and an Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition Finalist. Her scripts have been winners and finalists in many competitions, including BlueCat, the Athena Lab, Filmmatic, ScreenCraft, and Unique Voices. Her new drama pilot The Age of Desire was a 2020 ScreenCraft Drama and TV Pilot Semifinalist, and a Sundance Episodic Lab Second Rounder. Suzanne received her MFA from NYU Graduate Film, with awards in directing and producing.
