Lipoma's si-fi thriller pilot, OBSIDIAN, about a smuggler stowaway on a Mars supply run who rediscovers the starship captain she once was when the ship is thrust through a wormhole into an uncharted galaxy, was also an Austin Second Rounder. Lipoma believes that storytellers create a vision for the future, and engineers make that future happen. He was an engineer before screenwriting full time, so he's lived both sides of that equation.

After a successful contest run, the fully contained action script, CHECKOUT, from the newly formed action duo of Bryan Bock & Hunter M. Davis, was optioned by producer Nate Adams (The Ritual Killer, Paradox Effect, Vanquished) of Grey Mountain Entertainment. The script is currently out to talent with principal photography planned to begin in the second half of 2025.
