Felix Morgan, Winner of the 2016 Table Read My Screenplay Competition, Releases Short Film with Louis Norton Selzer

After meeting in 2016 at the Table Read My Screenplay - London showcase, Felix Morgan and Louis Norton Selzer struck up a conversation about getting Felix’s winning script Thanks for the Memories made.

After a few years of struggling to come up with the necessary funds, a chance of fate led them to executive producer Fionn Concannon. Thanks for the Memories starring Will Merrick, Jolyon Coy, and Thea Collings completed principal photography in May 2018 and post-production in February 2019. In the same month, the industry screening of the short film took place at Soho House... in the same room that Louis and Felix met.

The film revolves around Joel, just another bored twenty-something looking for some excitement in an otherwise dull and uneventful life. A curious encounter with a travel agent pulls him into an unusual world where he’s offered an even more unusual proposition. He is offered the trip of a lifetime - anything he could ever want at whatever cost. It won’t cost him a penny but there is one catch: he won’t remember any of it when he gets back.  Why would anyone do that? The agent’s reply: it all depends on what you value more, memories or experiences? To watch this short, please visit: https://vimeo.com/318311198.

“We are thrilled that our organization brought together two bright and emerging filmmakers; we could not ask for a better outcome from one of our table read competitions,” said Molly Kasch, Director of Operations for the ISA.
