Cole Fowler is a TV Writer, writing instructor, and script consultant. He most recently served as a staff writer and story editor on the Freeform drama Siren. Before making the leap to writer, Cole served as a script coordinator, writers’ assistant, and showrunner’s assistant on many shows including Stranger Things, How to Get Away with Murder, Scream, Twisted, Fringe, and Brothers & Sisters.
Cole is originally from Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Southern California, where he received a B.A. in Cinema-Television Critical Studies. After graduating, Cole went on to earn a Television Writing Certificate through the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, where he focused in one-hour drama.
Cole was a winner of the 2018 Writer’s Assistants Network Writers Workshop with his pilot Hollywood Hustle. He also won Scriptapalooza TV 2012 for a spec script of The Good Wife.
