In this introduction to Pitch Decks webinar, ISA’s Shayna Weber (Creative Executive) and Caitlin Arcand Daniel (Marketing Manager) will discuss why pitch decks are important to have for your film or TV project and how you can make your own without spending a small fortune hiring a designer.
We will dive into the fundamentals of creating your own as we go step by step, with you, on the online design website, Canva. No experience required!

SHAYNA WEBER Shayna is a screenwriter, producer and director originally from Bend, Oregon. She started out working in casting and talent management before working as a producer during the rise of unscripted television, where she developed, produced, and directed a number of projects. Her roster of shows includes: “So You Think You Can Dance,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Weakest Link,” VH1’s “Band’s Reunited,” “Brew Dogs,” “She’s Got The Look,” Disney’s “Code 9,” and the Miss Universe Pageants. She has worked for NBC, Fox, Disney, MTV, VH1, Travel Channel, Discovery and Bravo. Shayna also produced the award-winning, horror/comedy, Lunch Ladies, and directed, A Very Important Film, both of which have received distribution. Shayna and her creative Partner, Clarissa Jacobson recently started their own company Rebel Minx. which focuses on female-driven content. Shayna is also the Sr. Manager of Production & Events for the International Screenwriters’ Association.
CAITLIN ARCAND DANIEL For the past two years, Caitlin Arcand Daniel has served as the Marketing Manager for the ISA. With nearly ten years of experience in social media and digital marketing, she has enjoyed working on projects and with clients from Showtime, Tribeca Film Festival, DryBar Comedy and HGTV. She has also worked in film and live TV production with companies such as Netflix, ESPN, Dirty Water Media, The Ivy League Network and Luminant Media. During her time in LA and NYC, Caitlin produced three award-winning films, showcasing at Slamdance Film Festival, Wicked Queer Film Festival and Los Angeles Indie Short Fest. Outside of her work, she is a huge advocate for technology education and has taught social media to students of all ages for the past five years. In 2021, she was named one of Buzzfeed's Women to Watch for her work to uplift female and LGBTIQA+ comedy creators.
