Whether you like it or not, AI is here to stay. The ISA's Director of Education, Max Timm is spending an hour on Zoom with the ISA Connect community to discuss not only the implications of AI across all industries, but ways in which AI can help and support the creative arts...especially writers and screenwriters. Here's what Max has to say, "I've tried to avoid it, however after spending a few weeks researching, listening to podcasts, experimenting with multiple platforms, it's quite obvious just how incredible and useful this new technology is." Max won't be attempting to sell writers on using AI, and he most certainly won't be trying to convince you that AI will magically write you a winning script (hint: it won't). He will go through various prompts to use in ChatGPT, show you what certain platforms like Kling.ai and Canva can do for you, and yes, discuss the implications of this technology - the good and the bad. It's a topic that is highly controversial, but we intend to approach it with an open mind toward how it can help our functionality in the development process.
