Introducing Larry Coleman, an ISA Top Screenwriter to Watch in 2021

Coming from a professional background of years in working in social services with diverse populations, Larry E. Coleman loves writing character-driven dramas that shine a spotlight on the human condition and many of the social ills that plague our society. Before embarking on a screenwriting career, Larry co-founded Crowner-Coleman Publishing, a small press dedicated to writing self-help and motivational material that focused on interpersonal relationships, codependency, and inner work. His feature screenplays have placed in multiple screenplay contests, including a Top 10 finish in the 2020 Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Competition, for his African American World War II drama, THE ABYSSINIAN, and a recent placement in the Final Draft Big Break Contest for the dystopian sci-fi drama SWIRL CITY. He was a 2018 Roadmap Writers Diversity Initiative Recipient and is currently on The International Screenwriters Association Development Slate, which he considers the highlight of his young screenwriting career.
