PARTNERS IN KIND seeks film students to contribute content to the Impact Campaign, which is designed to amplify the work of grassroots political organizations, while giving student filmmakers an opportunity to gain practical experience in the film industry.
The Beat Goes On is a documentary film that is being filmed right now, directed by award-winning Director and Executive Producer, Mario Van Peebles and co-executive produced by Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King.
WHAT YOU'LL GET:
- Each student will receive a $2,500 grant to produce original content
- Invitations to red carpets, film festivals, and press events
- Mentorship from acclaimed Hollywood producers & directors
- Access to state-of-the-art film equipment and editing software
- IMDb credit on the finished film
WHO CAN APPLY:
Current film students, recent graduates, or filmmakers with a passion for social justice. ALL SKILL LEVELS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18-29. You must live in one of the following states:
